- Free Trade Agreements (“FTAs”) have become in recent years a very prominent feature of the Multilateral Trading System. Countries and trading blocks all over the world have entered into bilateral FTAs with their trading partners which contain commitments on services trade.
This database can be used to obtain services schedules under FTAs of important countries (United States of America, European Union, Japan, Singapore, Australia, ASEAN, GCC, China, Japan and EFTA) with their trading partners. Click here for the list of the FTAs included in the database
- Explanatory Notes
1.The function ‘Choose a Country’ gives the names of 10 countries identified above. Please note that their trading partners are not included in the list of options. The partner country name can be seen when you select the FTA name.
2.The function ‘Type of information’ gives data on the following:
- Horizontal commitments under the FTA
- Specific commitments under the FTA
- Full text of the agreement
- Annex to the agreement
