Commitments under GATS
This database can be used to extract the services schedule for a WTO Member, or to compare services commitments across Members.
The General Agreement on Trade in Services consists of the framework agreement — the Articles of the Agreement — and its Annexes, and the schedules of specific commitments and the lists of exemptions from MFN treatment submitted by member governments.
Current Negotiations
This database can be used to extract data on trade in services on current negotiations.
The General Agreement on Trade in Services (“GATS”) mandates WTO member governments to progressively liberalize trade in services through successive rounds of negotiations. Negotiations under the Doha Round to liberalize market conditions for trade in services are being conducted mainly through a “request-offer” procedure.
Services Commitments under FTAs
This database can be used to obtain services schedules under FTAs of important countries (United States of America, European Union, Japan, Singapore, Australia, ASEAN, GCC, China, Japan and EFTA) with their trading partners.
